Table Top
Mirrored on the floor underglow
A table top above holds
Trinkets and knickknacks
Of careless positions intact.
Confusion he holds
For still and sound he stands
“Why do I hold these insipid thoughts?”
Asks soundly our table top.
One may sympathize
Yet care we not
For who really ever notices
Our helpful table top.
