Childish Ordeal

The sad Child sat there
Sulking in the sun beam.
Tears no longer strained
From hurting eyes.

Only muddy streaks remained
On his poor sullen face
As the sun dried
Each and every disgrace.

His mother wailed in the background
Until daddy halted mother’s face,
Shadowing the sun for a mere instant
With an eclipse of utter hate

Daddy’s smug tight beard
And mother’s tangled locks,
Never touched his cheek;
Prevented he must.

Sanity rekindled
As pain flared, till terminated...
The child reborn
No longer cared.

Future was born, with silver sheen
And creeping insanely
The crimson screen
Tore with flavor melancholy.

Drips of gore in the sunshine
With the rays of delight
That shone from his twinkling eyes,
A boy with freedom in sight.
