Mr. Cheese Spencerian Sonnet
Listen to the serene silence this day.
Look, a deer, cleansing, caressing her fawn.
Sniffs the air a rabbit, watching a margay
Staring at the child holding his flower in the dawn.
A brisk wind flutters a lion's mane as it yawns
When, serenading in true Disney style,
Holding his gun, a smoking rifle when drawn;
Comes Mr. Cheese, shooting all the while.
The deer, fawn, rabbit, and margay in a pile,
Fall to the ground amidst the dark crimson spray
As Mr. Cheese's delight matures a smile.
The child cries, bullet flies, that's all he will say.
And Mr. Cheese grins at his grimoir
Which he knows is the best, the best by far.
