I dreamt
I took a walk
Like several I knew,
Past an orchid and field,
Through the grass to you.
You held me surely
As a withered vine,
Grasping the dead tree
Your hands and mine.
But more appropriately,
A ribbon so fine
Within my menagerie
Were we entwined.
And then I awoke
This night so blue
After the walk I took
Like several I knew.
Like several I knew,
Past an orchid and field,
Through the grass to you.
You held me surely
As a withered vine,
Grasping the dead tree
Your hands and mine.
But more appropriately,
A ribbon so fine
Within my menagerie
Were we entwined.
And then I awoke
This night so blue
After the walk I took
Like several I knew.
