Can You See

Can you see beyond the doorway
To the island in the sea?
Or through the window and sunbeam
To the floating leaves?

Maybe you see the sun
Or the clouds or fog.
If you’re lucky
You’ll see all the ordinary.

But if you are favorable,
And maybe a bit crazy,
The world shall open up to thee
Showing you infinite beauty.
